Oct 30My ankle has not been the same since I injured it almost 2 years ago. Usually there is no discomfort during walking, but at certain angle I get a sharp pain. X-ray showed nothing abnormal. Ligament injuries are buggers. Im dealing with one now. From what I can tell, if not treated properly to begin with they may never heal correctly. If thats the case you may need surgery. His fibula is broken in more than 2 pieces, the ligament connected is torn, and possibly tore the one on the other side. He is most likely having surgery tomorrow.
