How do I prevent ankle injury? Also do you jump higher with on, or both feet?

It seems I always injure the SAME ankle. This time I think I know the cause. I was playing basketball, then I went to go for a rebound. I remember only jumping with one feet. Maybe thats the cause? Also would I jump higher and have more balance jumping with both?
I would use alot of tape and I would try to use ankle weights during practice and that might be able to make you jump higher. Thanks for the question

buy ankle braces or hi cut shoes with ankle support. And jump off of which ever leg you are comfortable with. When i dunk i jump of of 2, i feel that i get more height that way but my friends feel like they get more height off of 1, so you can use what ever
