How do i recover from an ankle injury?

I sprained my ankle a few months ago. Now every time i run or play soccer it feels sore; it feels like i cant fully extend it. Im looking for a way to maybe strengthen it or does it just feel sore from the exercise?

I sprained my foot a lot as a kid,come to find out it was from arthritis,RA. you could see your foot doctor .Hopefully,it hurts from the exercise,although it should not hurt to use it..

    If it only feels sore and not pains, then its just psychological. If it starts paining from now onward, than my conclusion has been proved because, I mentioned it and your mind let it happen.

    If it keeps on remaining sore after exercise, just ignore, practice that and soon you will get rid of it.

    BUT if the pain remains constant(NOT coming back ONLY when you think about it) and does not goes away for two days, GO CHECK WITH a doctor, better, with an orthopedic surgeon.
